Naaguesh at a glance
Dr Naaguesh Appadu has been working as a Research Fellow in the M&A Research Centre (MARC) and teaches M&A for undergraduate level and summer school at Cass Business School. Since 2010, he has been involved in a number of projects, particularly on IPOs, RTOs, Pensions, Performance of deals and the Cass MARC M&A Maturity Index. He collaborates with leading academics and MARC’s sponsors. He was formerly a lecturer/researcher at Middlesex Business School, where he taught the Financial Data Analysis course on MSc programmes and was a research assistant. He has also held various positions in the financial services and consulting industries such as Mergermarket and at the State Bank of Mauritius as an analyst in the Value-Based Performance Management team, as well as being a freelance advisor for small firms in Mauritius. He graduated from the University of Mauritius, has MScs in Investment and Finance and Research Methods and a PhD in Finance from Middlesex University Business School. Naaguesh has presented his research at many international conferences and published his research article the European Journal of Finance and has a book chapter in the Handbook of Research on IPOs.
